About

About Taiwan Health MCP

Let AI agents understand Taiwan healthcare. Open-source MCP server for FHIR Box, TW Core IG and Taiwan terminology. Free for dev, hosted for prod.

Why it exists

AI agents are good at language but do not know Taiwan's drug licences, TW Core profiles or which ICD-10 code a hospital actually bills. Taiwan Health MCP packages that knowledge as tools an agent can call through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard Claude, Cursor and other agent runtimes use to reach external tools.

Today it exposes 63 tools in 12 groups: TFDA drugs, ICD-10, SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm, FHIR IG authoring and validation, external FHIR servers such as a hospital FHIR Box, and clinical calculators.

How we build it

The server is open source under the MIT licence and runs on Node.js / TypeScript with the official MCP SDK. Every tool except crud_fhir_server is read-only, and the server stores no patient data: audit records keep only a SHA-256 hash of each tool's parameters.

We only publish claims that can be checked: data versions and tool counts on this site come from the same source as the project README, and we show no customer logos, testimonials or certification badges we have not earned.

Who maintains it

Taiwan Health MCP is maintained by HealthyMind Tech (療心智能), a Taiwanese company building verifiable healthcare AI. Its other products include DietMate, a LINE-native dietary logging assistant with a dietitian review workbench, and CareMate, a care-management system for clinics. Both use HL7 FHIR R4 to connect to existing hospital systems.

HealthyMind Tech passed Taiwan Connectathon 2026, run by Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare.
